Entre Mareas
Fine Art Photography
A contemplative series documenting the tide pools and coastline of Baja California Sur at the boundary between land and sea. Shot over multiple trips during the lowest tides of the year to reveal formations normally hidden underwater.
The Story
Salt spray, wind, and rapidly changing water levels made every session a race against the tide. Gear had to be weatherproofed, and compositions planned in advance from satellite imagery since access windows were often under an hour.
Key Features
Tide Pool Worlds
Macro compositions of anemones, urchins, and algae in shallow pools.
Wave Motion
Long exposures turning incoming waves into soft veils against dark rock.
Aerial Perspectives
Drone shots revealing the fractal patterns of the coastline from above.
Dawn Color
Pre-sunrise sessions capturing the cool blues and violets of first light on wet stone.
